About us

We are a Czech non-governmental organization (OPU), and since 2006 we have been operating in Georgia, where we are registered as an organization Gvirilas Sakhli (Camomile House).

Since 2012 we have been working on the project in Khashuri Daily Centre for seniors whose mission is to improve the life of elderly people from the town and surrounding area and to support them in their self-sufficiency. The centre is open every working day from 10.00 to 17.00 and the clients are provided with a social worker and a nurse. Seniors spend their leisure time there, meet with their peers, maintain social contacts and do not live in isolation. They engage in motivational activities, work in the sewing room, using social and legal consultations, library, pedicure and laundry. One part of the Centre is a Compensation and rehabilitation aids rental, which offers wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, canes, etc. to the elderly, the disabled or those after the accident. The other part of  the Centre is  the Centre for personal hygiene, it provides the elderly and less mobile citizens a possibility of personal hygiene with assistance. All services are symbolically charged.
